Don't let the holidays make you lose focus on working out. Make time for family, fun, friends and fitness.

Prioritize your time

Since it is a time for socializing and relaxing, you will have to go slow. The best time to work out is 'you time’. If you are constantly trying to impress others, you might put your needs on the back burner. Training is usually the first thing to fall by the way side. Carve out enough time to hit the gym 3-5 days a week to maintain your fitness and overall mental health.

Pick your indulges wisely

Avoid too much fat and added sugar. Don’t blow your diet on a cookie that comes from a box purchased from a supermarket. But your grandma's top secret cookie recipe that only comes out once a year is worth the indulgence.

Assess your goals regularly

Keep current with your goals. Check in with yourself often and ask why you want to reach certain goals. Doing so will keep you striving onward.

Sweat is just fat crying.

Buddy up

A work out buddy is so important. They will give you that extra support that is crucial especially during the holidays.

Get wise with your macros

If anything fits your macros, then you can go for it. The holiday usually has amazing foods that are mouthwatering. Don't deprive yourself too much but eat in moderation.
